This document is a summary of a project that used a statistical model
to identify geographic patterns and trends in marine debris
distribution, assess marine debris management actions, and produce
recommendations to improve marine debris monitoring protocols in the US.
Marine Debris Removal Best Practices

Marine debris is a pervasive pollution problem that impacts all
corners of the globe. Sometimes, debris ends up in places that require
innovative thinking in order to remove. Check out some of these projects that implemented unique or
developed best management practices for removing debris from the environment.
Evaluation of the Marine Debris Tracker App on the U.S. West Coast
This project recruited 25 volunteers from Washington, Oregon, and
California to test the Marine Debris Tracker App and provide feedback
through an online survey and interviews.
